A story on Sunday’s Page 2 (“Elliott honored during her Hampton tour stop”) incorrectly stated that July 23 was declared “Out of This World Tour Day.” Hampton Mayor Donnie Tuck declared Friday, August 2, 2024, as “Out of This World Tour Day” in the city. The story also contained inappropriate language that did not meet our style guidelines.
