Dozens of community-based organizations in Hampton Roads work directly with young people to prevent gun violence. Teens with a Purpose and Hopeful Hampton are two groups that embrace a variety of strategies, including conflict intervention, mentoring, and tapping into creative outlets to help young people make better choices.
