An 18-year-old has died of his injuries after a shooting on Friday night, according to Norfolk police.
Police were called to the 5100 block of E. Virginia Beach Boulevard, near the Elizabeth River, around 11:50 p.m. for reports of a shooting. There, officers found John E. Daughtry III, a Norfolk resident, with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Daughtry was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.
