Replacement for traffic light structure that fell on car in Newport News not coming until next year, city official says

UPDATED:

Assistant Director of Engineering Bryan Stilley called the failure of the structure "a little bit of an oddity." He said city workers will string up a temporary metal wire between wooden poles to hang up the traffic signals and signs until a replacement can be built.
