Letters for Aug. 1: How can we say God protected Trump when hundreds of children have been shot dead in school?

Letter writers question the belief that God protected former President Donald Trump from assassination, oppose absolute immunity for presidents, and argue it’s not really President Joe Biden pushing for Supreme Court justice term limits.
