Kim O'Brien Root

Kim O’Brien Root is the editor of The Virginia Gazette and Tidewater Review. She grew up as an Army brat and earned her journalism degree from the University of New Hampshire before settling in Virginia. She’s been a journalist for more than 25 years, writing for newspapers such as the Daily Press, the Roanoke Times and the Daily Progress.
